Hopefully it goes without saying that these are just my notes on what I’ve tried. the GTS / CRT tunes are certainly the highest performance, but I’m just noting that I find 69 good enough and can attest that it sounds a bit better. Some of the performance can come down to cleared adaptations after flashing, some can come down to user preference, etc. Some of it is certainly placebo. Can anyone who works with INPA / WinKFP post their ZBs in their UIF if they get the chance? I suppose that anyone that knows how to do this would have already flashed a new tune though. |

You guys have some of that brake to slow speed, but not stop, and then step on the gas, and get... NOTHING for a couple seconds and then is launches forward after frantically stepping on the gas. It's not as bad as the original US version, but I still have some of it with the GTS tune (not sure which one I have).

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Isn't the Getrag 7DCI600 the same transmission used in the F8x? What do they have? I think they have the same trans pan, that's why I ask. Last edited by chocstraw; 06-19-2022 at 03:23 PM.. |

Ahh fair enough, I think I'll go back to 442 when I have the time and do clutch adaptation.

Just flashed 7845773 on my latest m3, great DCT tune for the street and the track. On my last car with the OE DCT Cooler I ran S6 at COTA for 3 days straight using this tune and no issues at all. Looking forward to trying it at the track again with my current car. Have the do88 cooler on this one.

Hello all,
Does anyone know how can I know the compatible SW versions to update my car to GTS transmission? It's a European E92 M3 from 2008. Thank you in advance! |

I'm going to revive this thread a bit. I have a dct in my '08 and I bought it with some type of dct tune already installed, not sure what tune it actually is though (or from which company). It starts in D2 and launch control is 3500 if my memory is right. My biggest problem with it, which has begun to annoy me more and more, is that medium-high rpm shifts at moderate to full throttle are extremely hard and really slam you back. My car will break loose on 1-2 and chirp on 2-3 and the slamming shifts are fun sometimes but only in a straight line. However, because of this the shifts can really make the car unsettled when shifting on turns (say if I'm on a long turn on the highway or changing lanes to pass someone). Does everyone else experience this with their dct tune?
The 7847869 (possibly up to date Euro flash) tune mentioned by chocstraw sounds like the only one that might not have these hard shift, unless I'm not understanding that correctly. It sounds appealing but how would I go about getting that specific dct tune?

All of them interact differently depending on the engine firmware version too, it's good to have roughly similar release dates for the trans, engine, and traction firmwares. Consider checking the hardware for issues too, make sure the pan isn't leaking too bad, fluid level is ok, consider changing it if it's original or 50-60k miles old. |

I have a DCT tune on my North American car, goes to D2 on first shift and has a 3500rpm launch control. I'd like to raise the launch to 5500rpm but retain the first shift to D2. Can anyone confirm that 7847869 is the correct code for this tune?
