But i wonder if this is really a GT2 because of the induction noise and high revs?
Former GT2/GT2RS sounds similar to the Turbo models and has that turbocharger muffling effect ,this sounds really good more like a GT3 maybe it is a GT3RS prototype?
Would be cool though if Porsche could get the next GT2/GT2RS turbo engines to rev and sound more like the natural aspiration GT3/GT3RS engines.
That's the GT3RS mule running with GT3 aero still. The new RS will share the same extra wide body of the Turbo. Where before there was only 2 body options, now are 3. Regular Carrera, Carrera 4S and GT3 (wider) and the widest of them all for Turbo, Turbo S and GT3RS so far.

As of now there is no indication of a GT2 model. Some say there won't be one.

Time will tell.

The car in the video looks to have air intakes in the rear wheel arches as the Turbo does ,i wonder if these will be kept if this is a GT3RS test car?
Prior GT3/RS models had no use for the air intakes with their NA engines and the next GT3RS will surely be NA too.
Of course they can just be testing the wider turbobody for now and remove the intakes later.

It does, that's exactly what I explained, it's a test mule using the Turbo body.
No reason for lateral air intakes when there is no intercooler.

Yeah because when you buy a Porsche, you definitely want to make sure you can drive it in the snow, get good gas mileage, and fit your groceries in there in stuff.

Definitely puts some super cars to shame.
It said seven minutes and eighteen seconds, not eight.

7:18 is very cute.

Absolutely. A friend of mine has one. Never been in a production car that fast nor one that felt so planted and handled on rails. Truly a special car.
