No way a 570whp M3 DCT should lose to a 520whp Camaro manual, the M3 is a bit lighter, has a lot better transmission and has 50whp more!!
Only thing I can see is if the M3 was missing some boost due to really low air density, pulley driven supercharged cars get much more affected by DA then N/A or turbo cars! No matter what, impressive performance from the Camaro! |

maybe the SC m3 has a boost leak... I was in a similar boat when I raced my buddy's 5.0, it wasn't FBO, but had full exhaust, intake and a tune. I pulled him, but not by much. Later i fixed the boost issue and it was quite a bit more.

I've tuned rectangle port LS motors than I can count that made similar power with the same mods as the one in the vid, and internals don't gain power anyhow lol.

saw a comment about him running NOS also somewhere. on one of his videos he was on the same level as 550whp supercharged 5.0 and he was only pushing 500whp.

Pretty sure more than 1 person can have a matte blue wrap (especially cause it looks awesome).... The car you're thinking of is Tightie's Gintani Stage 3 M3 (also has a matte blue wrap)

The M3 performance vs the SS seemed more like a 575 kit in my opinion. With a 625 kit the SS should have been beaten. If it is indeed a 625 kit the SS had more mods than stated or the M3 not running to optimal power, No matter what props to the SS for taking he win and shame on the supercharged, DCT M3.
