Nice run! I was out there Sunday just watching the event. I gotta participate in the next one...
Great stuff.
Yes those turbo E46 cars are insane. 800HP. (Lab22 was at AA7, I was thinking the red one was from their group... by chance do you know?)

The owner of Burger Tuning's JB4 F80 was there racing and a couple of F82s, but I didn't see them run at all.

I think that may be a while off...with no flash tune available, its not easy to tune upgraded turbo's. I"m sure the jb4 can do it but we shall see....

Its good to see a f80 m3 with dp's, race gas, and jb4 against a ess 625 car. Right about what i would expect..

Great race, thanks for posting it! My only gripe is that people don't know to turn the phone sideways when recording a movie...looks retarded vertically. At least they weren't holding it outside the window and capture the wonderful wind noise.

Yeah, I don't know why he shot it that way, but it actually looks really good on my phone.

Definitely man, those cars are beasts straight from the factory and are beastly with significantly less of an added on investment!

Impressed with the F8x, with only a JB4 it held its ground.

As per the thread, EAS is dynoing them, and the results should be posted today/tomorrow.

We'll have to wait and see....will he get it running? Sure, will it be tuned to the max? No. In the n54 world, people ran into a fueling wall until the flash tunes were released then they started stacking JB4's and a flash to control hybrid / single turbo's. Even BMS offered a back end flash to go along with thier jb4. With this s55, until someone cracks it and gets a flash, it will have its limitations and the tune won't be fully optimal.

We don't yet know the limits of the s55's fueling, but with just a piggy, you are limited in how much you can control and leave power on the table.

Confirmed that it was a Lab22 e46 M3. He also won the BMW/AMG shootout over the Weisstec stage E63 black series with a 182.03mph trap speed.

very impressed with that centrifugal blower that everyone dogs on...

These s/c kits still hold their own. Lets not hand it out the new m3, that car is a new platform, twin turbo and lighter with some decent bolt ons... everyone is impressed with the new car, imo I'm impressed with the relatively cheap S/C kit putting the v8 m3 into serious performance territory. :-)

I agree. Looks like 3 to 4 cars by the end which isn't really close. I would also assume the S/C E90 would continue to increase the gap as the speeds increased, no?

OP - You said the first run was the only one that was close any thoughts on why?
