Wow that sucks, good luck with the repairs...so is this a common problem with all M3's or more so with cars that are tracked?

I'm relatively new to the M3 world but when I read that some people are considering rod bearing replacement as maintenance, I was surprised. I'll do a search for more details on the subject. In my experience, rod bearing failure usually starts from a lack of lubrication which leads to heat then to welding and then parts breaking and banging around inside the block.

What condition did it happen under? Were wot? I see your running a 650 kit, was 93 octane used?

They will not warranty the engine with the supercharger on there. There may be a chance if you remove it and reflash it to stock then take it to a different dealer.
