1. Did the female/male end of the sensor have any oil residue in it?
2. Did you reset the oil level sensor with INPA? I would bring it to the dealership to have them reset everything, mentioning this specific issue. Sometimes they need recalibration by software. 3. There is still a possibility it is a faulty, genuine BMW sensor. You have a two-year warranty on those parts, so I'd ask the dealership to replace it.

OP, as I'm sure you read there has been tons of strange oil sensor/gauge readings on our cars. I also had my share of crazy sensor reading (in my case after RB replacement) but stabilized since. As you have proven there is sufficient amount of oil in the engine, it simply have to be the reading regardless of your new sensor. |

Btw if I remember correctly the oil level sensor does not only measure oil level but also oil "quality". But you use Liqui Moly so you should be fine. Did you experiment with different brands?

It seems that you’re not losing any oil actually, that’s the good news.
The sensor issue is electrical in nature.. Assuming that the new Oil sensor is not faulty, maybe check the wiring harness connecting to the sensor.. There have been people on this forum chasing a check engine light due to O2 sensor related codes, changed O2 sensor multiple times & finally found faulty wiring harness leading to the O2 sensor.. |

Yesterday i took the car to a mechanic, he said it seems like a (new faulty sensor) so he cleaned the plug and there was no oil residue and replace it with new sensor OEM (bought from BWM dealer)also and add new oil and did a reset just to check if the sensor was faulty or not , still the issue exists nothing changed, so it is not the sensor, he thinks its wiring/ electrical issue , so I’ll bring the car back to him again today to check the wiring. Hope to done with this

If you let the car warm on level ground and force a measurement via the BC stalk does it report the same measurement each time?
Have you inspected the wiring point to point? Maybe use a continuity meter while moving the wires around. Is the part number on the sensor correct per your VIN? Have you pulled any error codes besides those ABS warnings in your pictures? I’d bust out INPA and pull a backup of the DME programing, load in a blank MAN file and then read that and compare the two for wierd settings. I would also do the same for KOMBI ecu. Could be an inappropriate parameter. My money is on a wire issue or sensor FWIW. Good luck!

TIS explanation of Oil Condition Sensor
Quote:
As per OP problem, TIS does note "spurious oil-level warning" when the permittivity of the oil is compromised. This makes me think at certain conditions a fault code should be recorded. I'd be curious what INPA or ISTA might have for this. Maybe it could help shed some light on the problem as others have suggested. Keep us posted, OP? Attached is a PDF of the TIS explanation to the oil level measuring strategies implemented. Great way to familiarize and understand.
