Getting Tints on Saturday ...Any Advice?

Big question for me as well. I had 35% on my e46 but I was debating on whether or not to put it on the M since I love the ability to show the Fox Red interior.

I may go with 35% all around as it will still show the inside of the car and at the same time offer some protection from the sun once the summer hits NYC.

I do 35% rear and 50% front. Never been bothered. The contrast between front and rear is subtle and looks good in my opinion while the 50% allows cops to be able to see you.

I have the exact same car Saandiaago and my tint is the same 50% on the doors and 35% on the two rear and back and I love it!

Make sure the do the back glass dot matrix right the first time

I have 28% all around. If I had to do it again (because, one can never be satisfied), I'd go upper 30%/low 40% to keep it classy. Then again I have a black/black M3

I went 50%, (legal limit in OH) on all side windows and 35% on the back window. Best compromise IMO to stay legal and still look good/have the benefit of of the tint.

I've been going with 35% for years with different vehicles, never got pulled over once. The most important advice I can give is to find an expert installer...don't let the cost be your deciding factor.

Tints make it easy to flick boogers-

Source... I flick my boogers with 35% tint and am not bothered by popo in the sunny state of Seattle, WA.

I haven't gone to 15-20% because it's generally overcast and was a little difficult to see out the sides.

My advice, don't do it... You will get mad bubbles on the dot matrix on the rear windshield.
