running 255/30/20 in the front. 20x9 +16 rim. i believe this is the absolute limit for the front without camber plates. this is my third set of wheels and i think i finally found the perfect setup. the front doesnt rub, even on full U-turn locks. |

Try getting a full wheel alignment big rims will change the specs. Ask them to put some rear camber in should pull the wheel away from the fender. Have a full tank of gas when you get the wheel alignment how it's at the factory. For why its rubbing maybe LSD is making the suspension deflect not travel up and down but twisting at low speed at higher speed tires are slipping more equaling less force twisting. Just a thought

The suspension joints have some compliance. When you turn your spinning tires want to continue going strait (require force to turn). In addition the contact patch friction of your tire resists turning. Apparently the combined forces are enough to move the location of your tires relative to the car's body to eliminate the clearance between the tire and the body. The lean of the body on the suspension relative to the tire is also a factor (maybe even the biggest factor). Short story: other factors come into play when you are turning vs. going straight that conspire in your case to eliminate tire to body clearance.

Im not suprised it rubs,
post some pictures, how close are you to rubbing, and where is it exactly rubbing? You have two options here... camber the rear (tires will wear faster however if done right youll get a positive outcome) You should be running a 275 rear tire. |

If you ask your question in the TireRack forum I bet 99% of the people will tell you (most of them know there wheels and tires very well) that you are simply running a wheel tire combination to large for your car. Your dealer if knowledgeable will also confirm this.
Sorry to say those are the facts ... so to solve ypour problem get slightly smaller wheels and tires.

I have the same rubbing sounds during low speed turns and I'm still on the stock ZCP E90 setup.

oddly the rubbing issue went away. but it does rub when my suspension gets compressed, like going over dips too quickly, but i just need to slow down for that. all is good. |
