I get a lot of interest on this exhaust. IMO it's sound quality is up there with the more popular brands trumped on this forum. I gotta record the exhaust note and post for all to hear. I gotta get a good mic and do this. The x pipe is sought after as well, so you made a good choice.

Congrats. Just make sure you keep dsc on once you decide to floor it in 2nd or 3rd gear once the car is broken in as you may experience traction loss at higher rpms, which at those speeds can be dangerous. Also, keep the power button off at all times as throttle response will otherwise be too sensitive and will cause tire spin at low rpms as well. Managing all of this new found power is a little tricky but once u get the hang of it, your grin will just not go away

I looked into it and its not really a Bolt on if you have to take out the differential and drill and all kinds of other modifications.

My bad. Does it matter if it saves you aggravation and $ in the long run?

Congrats! I'm currently deciding if I want to s/c my car or pick up a gt-r, leaning towards s/c but its a tough one since I've got 58k on my car and the 6yr/100k warranty is up next year.

Judging by your sig, you have a long history with M cars. No interest in the next gen M4, or have you just been bitten by the GTR bug? If the power has you , only way to compare these cars is to s/c your M, otherwise you'll never catch the gtr.
As for me, the refinement and versatility of our cars gives them a leg up on the GTR. Plus, your gonna be in for well over 100k after you mod the sh** out of the GTR. Again, it's personal, you can read 100's of posts here comparing the two...

I was initially considering the M4, but the only thing holding me back is going to be the lack of mods for quite awhile, especially good tunes. Honestly I don't like the interior of the GT-R at all, the premium leather package makes it a bit better but I don't know if its $4k better. I'm really only considering it for the performance, although another drawback is the high maintenance costs. I love only having to put tires on my e92, dropping it off, getting a free rental and not having to worry about a thing.

Maybe I'll just s/c my e92, warranty isn't up till mid next year anyways and by that time maybe they'll have some products out for the M4.

IMO, the M4 looks promising. Mods, tunes, etc. will be available ASAP. Remember, this is HUGE money for tuners and aftermarket companies alike. You know your not going to like the interior of GTR as you mentioned, M4 interior is completely updated and very sweet! Your routine maintenance is warranted I believe; s/c or not. If all you want is performance you can't beat the GTR. I like the total package of the M3/4. Especially now I'm pushing GTR hp, no brainer for me......
Supercharge, and be done!

Tunes have been slow going on the F10 M5. The encryption that BMW is putting on the new ECUs is proving tough to beat. We went through this on the Mini side when BMW moved from the N14 to the N18 engines. Tunes for late models were very few and far between and took a while to develop. They'll get it eventually, but it will take some time.
