Hmmm, those two cars are in a different league than the F8x and you owning both puts you in a different league maybe that's why you can pull your weight? M6

To quote Sebastian Vettel, 'I'm the same idiot I've been my whole life.' Nothing special. I just tell people exactly what is on my mind and do exactly what I tell people I will do. |

Friday I walked into my BMW dealer in torrential rain and said I think I needed a new front windscreen wiper as current one was sqweeking, guy from the counter got up, check my car/plates, went out in the rain and changed all the wipers front and back and I was on my way.
Got to love that all inclusive 100k servicing, even if the car was bought second hand. Also just from the car key they can read up on all the car details, I was impressed. |

My SA is awesome. No questions ask for anything I need or want.
He is one of the reason why I have bought 4 bmw's in the last 2 1/2 years. Never had any desires to talk to the tech, but if I wanted to I'm sure I could. If your in Norther Virginia go to BMW of Fairfax and see Mr. Latham. |

Been using the same guy since 2006/2007... Never had even the slightest hiccup and can't tell you the number of times I've been driven up onto the many floors of the service department...
I do remember to get him a nice bottle of something holiday time - least I can do with the countless number of dollars he's saved me from my fack ups... - PowerTune didn't sit well with my e92 M3 and he had them flash back to stock - I left a large metal object under the passenger seat of one of the cars, seat came off rails - fixed under warranty - killed my own battery on accident - towed to dealership fixed under warranty I've never made an appointment in years and even when I volunteer to do so I'm told don't worry about it just come when I want... Treat them right don't demand special treatment and above all else just be a decent human being... |

I have known my dealer for many years and he is more of a friend than just a dealer. Talking to technicians or taking a walk around the center is never a problem for me. Having said that, it could be hazardous to go inside since there could be oil on the floor or car parts lying around.
