If you hit 130 you would have lost your car, well at least in BC you would have. Excessive speeding.

We have a bunch of 110km/h areas on TransCanada

Here are more pictures of my car, I was able to go to the tow yard today to pick up personal belongings in the car.

This makes me sad because I got the car on September 24th, 2017. I haven't even owned it for a month.

Cars can be replaced no matter how much you love yours, but your life cant be replaced.

Hopefully they don't write it off, even if they do write it off I'll be on the market for another M3 or maybe change it up to a C63.

Replaced my supercharger filter and changed the blower fluid yesterday. Pain in the butt yet necessary. Access to the filter stinks but oh well.

The felt under tray is a horrible design, I can’t believe the bmw engineers came up with it...

I believe you will be happy with it. I ordered it after reading many positive reviews and I agree with all the good things I have read about it. Good fitment, weight, looks and sound. I would not say it is too loud. If anything maybe a little too quiet but then again this is only a cat back. With the windows cracked its an enjoyable sound to shift to with my 6mt. With the windows up it is only slightly louder than stock unless you are at higher rpm. I tend to drive with the drivers window open just a bit to hear it. Also it's one of the cheaper systems for these cars. I can't see myself spending 4-6k for a exhaust system. It's just bent stainless steel. That's a crazy price tag. I came from Japanese cars. Never spent more than 1000 on an exhaust until this car.
I have the same and can second your opinion. Why spend more. Sounds amazing. Deep burble. Not to loud.

Sounds like what I did last week.

Summary:
  • Valve cover gaskets
  • Upper timing cover gaskets
  • Engine fan
  • Thermostat
  • Spark plugs
  • Brakes & rotors (warranty replacement)
  • Oil change (OEM weight)

Drives great, of course. I have a little over 50k miles on it.

Next is probably tires. Keeping an eye on the Blackstone reports, but so far so good.

Here’s a shot of the motor during the work:

Nice, I did hear that Borla does not fit with having a diffuser. Do you know if this is accurate.

No idea mate but the pipes looks tp be roughly the sam diameter as OEM. Havent planed for a diffuser but can report back with an assumption.

Looking forward to hearing your opinion on how it compares to the OEM mod.
