(Saturday) approaching slowed traffic on the 101, guy driving SUV in lane next to me is doing the "slow down" signal with his hand out the window (wasn't speeding so couldn't imagine what his issue was). Pulled next to him to see what he wanted; he rolls down all the windows and 5 kids are sitting in the rear. Then signals to me to rev it up. Gave them 8000rpms of fury and then took off to a car-full of applause
(and a rolling of eyes from the girlfriend ) |

Some of the reactions are pretty priceless, can't wait until my grandson gets a little older. I fully plan on telling him that the "M" on the steering wheel is for Monster Mode. |

Drove to ACM in Fairlawn, NJ and had them perform a GTS DCT tune. Wow, so much crisper shifting. Night and Day from stock tune.

Installed my custom molded diffuser and rear bumper on the E90 today! Fixed my exhaust tip length issue since I'm running an E92 M Performance exhaust lol.

Today my 8 year old daughter asked my wife why her minivan doesn't have an M button. I laughed and took her for a ride for appreciating a good thing.

Put on a set of 19x10 ZCPs up front! The fitment is incredible, no spacer needed. Now she sits on a square set of 19x10 ZCPs wrapped in 275/30/19 PSS. Can't wait to hit the track and see how it dives into corners.

None whatsoever. It sits only 3mm further out than my 245/35/19 19x9 and 15mm spacer front setup, and people on this boat routinely use 18mm spacers. Effectively, it sits identical to everyone's stock front + spacer combo, and the overall diameter is a bit smaller giving more clearance.

Installed support rods for the front splitter. This requires front bumper removal. Was not looking forward to do this as I thought removing front bumper was not easy.
Happy to say that it was much easier than I thought. If I have to do it again, it will take less than 20 min.

Detailed the Novillo Leather seats with nourishing leather care product and got the Alcantara steering wheel cleaned up. Amazing what a bit of warm water, Simple Greene all purpose cleaner, terrycloth and a bit of elbow grease can do. The Alcantara went from matted and dirty, to the clean fluffy suede feel and look. Very happy with the results.

So the M3 was acting weird on downshifts, scanned it for codes. Throwing bank 2 actuator.
Swapped it out for a new unit. Apparently the new units are not made VDO Germany. I guess BMW started to make the parts in China now (hahaha). ![]() |

When you say "weird", what do you mean?

idle kept fluctuating and when it downshifts, the car was blipping too much gas or too little. the car wasn't consistently shifting properly. at first I thought it had to do with my DCT transmission, but there were no codes on the car except for bank 2 actuator. after replacing, 0 issues now. car is smooth as butter.
