i really wouldn't recommend that tire for a beginner/someone starting out.

something like a V720/V730 is more cost-effective and a lot easier to drive.

Based on your list, NT01, no question. Comes in the size you need, is decently fast relative to the cheater 200tws nowadays. Wears better then anything else except maybe the RS4 which wears even better but is definitely slower.

I’d go Cont Force or RS4 over NT01 or cheater 200 tires.

My bud liked the cheap V730’s a lot more than NT01, and they appear to be a long lasting tire so far. I don’t have personal experience with them yet.

I'm currently running Federal 595 RSRR's, which are at the end of their life limit (sat for a couple years in storage). Excellent wear resistance, can't comment on their relative grip since it's the only "track" tire I've ever run on this car. I'm assuming an NT01 or V730 or RS4 is going to be a big step up in terms of speed.

Honestly the RSRR tires are pretty good, I haven't run them in years but I don't think an RS4 will be significantly faster. The V730 and NT01 will be faster and definitely give you more heat resistance throughout a session.

V730 or NexenSport-R are what I'd pick if I were just getting started on this wallet crushing tire addiction.

Nowhere does it say fastest possible, he’s literally asking for an endurance tire.

RS4 hits all of those requirements. I like the NT01 but decent wet grip would be a bit of a stretch.

Maybe it’s because people would be like “I got teh ps4s” and no one (including them half the time) could tell whether they meant PS4 or PS4S.

Depends on the how you define 'great dry grip' I suppose. NT01 better then the Force or RS4 for that, but both the Conti and the RS4 would wear a bit better and be better in the wet.
Between those 3 I think he'll find a good option though.

Thank you for posting this information. I don’t have Instachat or Facesnap so wasn’t aware of the PS5S launch info. IMO the product will be a game changer.

My two cents. Ran the NT01 for 8 days. Didn’t like it at all. Sidewalls were mushy and not confidence inspiring under braking. Technology is a decade old at this point? I have 5 days on RE71RS running 1:58 pace at Thunderhill with full aero and 3400lbs (full tank). They still have life left and feel like a huge step up.

275/35R21 99YXL

And for the Aston Martin fitment;

275/35R21 103YXL AML Acoustic

325/30R21 108YXL AML Acoustic

Supercar3 275/38/18 has been pretty good to me. I run those when I travel to tracks 4-5 hours away.

you got like 12 more days of use on the NT01 before that tire becomes the best

Very true. Makes buying the RR's new seem silly when you can get the NT01 (which is the same rubber compound), just comes with more tread to start.
The main advantage to the RR is the sizes - you can get them in 295/30 and 315/30. Where the NT01 you're stuck with 275/35, or running 305/35 on the rear (which is very tall).
