Ok, I know the Giants suck royally, but I was just watching the end of their game against the Chiefs...
Giants complete a 30 or so yard pass on 4th and 6 to KC's 2 yd-line (spot was questionable, but thats a different story and not part of my point here). So now there are about 2 mins left in OT and Eli snaps the ball and scrambles to the center of the hashes to take a knee to line up a GW FG. IMO, this is without a doubt the correct thing to do. However, the commentators started going on about how this was "questionable", citing them punching in a TD from that distance earlier in the game. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!? I cannot think of a single good reason to go for a touchdown here, in practically any scenario, unless it was week 17 of Eli's final season with zero playoff hopes and he is 1 TD away from an all-time record, or something stupid like that. And even then idk if you try and score a TD when you can just kick an 'old fashioned' extra point from the fucking 4 yd line to end the game. /rant

Love to see a Pats rematch. Only this time, McNoob won't be vommiting at midfield during crunch time.

if other teams can make do w/o special counterparts like sherman and chancellor, we can as well. Now more than ever it will be all on Wilson. The days of the daunting defense at home are over. We will remain good, but not great, like before. Wilson will need to take it one step further. All he needs is the godam oline to be half decent. it can work. I'll be in Seattle for the Philly game, can;'t wait.

I miss almost all my fav teams games due to travel. But I will tell you this:
1) They were supposed to suck with over 50% turnover on the defense 2) Some new guy at the helm 3) Somehow managed to jump out to a 5-2 start 4) 2 blowouts later they are in a playoff position at 5-4 5) "Let's start the 171st overall pick to see if he can right the ship" 6) Oh dam #5 was a bad move 7) Edit #4 to be three straight blowout losses 8) @KC and then the Pats coming up In hindsight they have one good win - they have beaten only one team with an above 500 record (Falcons at 6-4). Anyone want to take a guess why I'm miserable??? |

The Eagles shit the bed on so many levels. The Vikings are the best team right now in the NFC, followed by the Saints.

I agree with 👆 Strong top three in the NFC. Saints run game has taken a lot of pressure off Brees. They are coming on strong when it counts. What’s people’s thoughts on the AFC? Looks like my Pats and Steelers are destined for a big show down in a few weeks. But tonight the Bungles may pull off an upset?!?! Side note...how bout Jimmy G getting a win in his first start for the 49ers! I see good things for him there. You’re welcome Niners fans!
