Now about the video...the start up of the motor,i can hear at 0.06 run time in the video the famous clack...bang sound,my engine is stock, and i have it too, when i don't drive the car for 3-4 days, and it's realy scary sometimes, and when i drive here every day...no clack...bang sound BTW...there is a tread about this problem, but no solution ! Sound may be coming from vanos units or a hydraulic timing component that oil has drain out from days of not having oil pressure. S65 runs of oil pump for timing hydraulics older M motors had dedicated pumps and gas charged cylinders to help hold oil in timing hydraulics.

There are a few oil check valves in the S65 engine...like this one that prevents oil from draining from the heads down to the block when the engine is off.

I also picked the AWRON gauge from Eas and let me tell you
This gauge is "Sick" and a must have if your supercharged ! Makes monitoring and trouble shooting a breeze. Installation was a slight challenge but Tom @ Eas made it a breeze as he was on standby to answer questions that I had. I also opted for the intake runner for boost which is a pretty sleek piece. Here's a video of the display installed. [u2b][/u2b] |
