Hi, new here and to the track. I have a stock 2013 E93 M3. I ran a Hill Climb event at Snowshoe WV this past August and I’m sold. I’ve only driven at Dominion in VA on a track. I’m going to add a cage and harness so I can start getting some experience at VIR and other SCCA time trial track events. I don’t have plans for autocross.
I’m looking at some RT660s and have read through a ton of posts. Most helpful has been Berns experience with 315 staggered and how it affected handling in corners. I too don’t mind oversteer and getting a little loose but feel I do lose time. At least going up hill for sure. I know the 200 compound will be a dramatic improvement in grip over my current budget tires.
I may try 295/30/18 and 315/30/18 10.5 +22 but wanted some input on that vs 295 or 285/30/18 10.5 +22 square. Like the ability to rotate and advantages to that, cornering, etc. Specifically if these configurations will fit without fender rub, especially rear. Not concerned with lining rub really.
Thanks for any assistance.
