Is Bimmerfest worth going to? Is it more than just a bunch of BMWs sitting in a parking lot in Fontana?
Depends how much you like dudes because it's a major sausage fest.

Passing into turn 1/2 is a little bit of a game of chicken there's a pit wall there as you come off the oval that makes it impossible to protect unless you kill your entry speed and exit. We've been racing eachother for a long time so play nice there's a field of cars behind us...we were both under the existing track record in that race and he reset it at the end there (he put a wheel off in the esses which gave me enough of a gap to breathe for the last 5 laps or so, won by 1.2 seconds)

so a FB "on this day" came up today at 1 year ago today I was at MRLS where I hit 30K miles. One year later, I'm at 54,896 (24,896 miles in a year). Nothing beats driving around California to all these tracks

Yep! But some days I wish I had a tow rig and trailer for my M3. Especially on the long trips.

AFE xpipe came today. Great build quality and bends. I can't wait to get it in a little later this week and pick up a little more power.

I am continually impressed with the AFE products I pickup. I think this is the first new exhaust I have ever purchased. Unwrapped the rest of it today.

I take that back, I had a new nismo exhaust on my truck back in the day.
