I heard he's going Friday already. Unlimited track permission is unfair lol

Had a great time hanging out at Buttonwillow with roastbeef and his lovely fiance. Great to meet a bunch of you and put faces to screen names... redpriest and M3 Number 86, plus a bunch of other super nice guys whose screen names I didn't catch. The only downside of the day was that I set my best time in the morning and couldn't better it for the rest of the day. I was pushing hard during the last session and had a couple "incidents" that told me it was time to pack up and head home. While my tires probably have one more track day in them, they are well past their prime at this point.

@ 0:31 - definitely one of the more creative lines I've seen through the bus stop. =)

Congrats on the new pb.

So to keep in the practice of safety stuff for the rest of this year and eventually as I move into NASA (hopefully) I picked up a OMP 2 layer fire suit. 2013 made so it was 40% off. Spent the money in just because I wanted to have the safety stuff inline. Also replaced my OMP balaclava with a new OMP balaclava. For reference this suit is a size 56. I'm 6'2 and 198lbs. I have a schroth flex coming probably after spring mountain that I'll run with quick fit pros.

Looking at 6points now as I'll probably put in a half cage end of July beginning of August.

Yep! I had to double check with the guys at Winding Road Racing to make sure I got the correct Simpson Hybrid. Once you put it on and connect the tethers to your helmet, you have very little neck movement. Its 10% discount if you are a nasa member.

The Simpson Hybrid is boss - saved my neck from injury in a crash. Highly recommended.

What series do you want to get in to in NASA?

I have the MS pulleys. I only got them in January though so only a handful of track days on them. No issues so far.

Finally was able to install my new Sparco Ergo seat that I bought a month ago with these new Brey Krause mounts. 6lbs total. -40 lbs to the car with the removal of the stock seat.

That is a hell of an upright seating position.

I had to angle the seat like that to get the shoulder harnesses at the correct angle
