Had it since July. It's a lease experiment to give hybrids a chance. It's fine for around town as you can really hyper mile if you do a ton of short trips and get to recharge before the battery drains. On the highway it's very competent but not a rocket ship. Passing takes some planning on 2 lane roads. Still, very capable. It'll get a workout in DC. I might even town a Uhaul trailer behind it on the drive out to DC, depending on when the house sells (e.g., if it sells before the new one is done I'll have to tow a small trailer to take 'essentials', or so I've been told...).

First order of business today, losing ~8lbs up front. Burger tuning cowl filters installed. Good quality. Simplifies the engine bay a little.
I wrapped the open hood warning device in plastic wrap and duct taped it "closed."

And dumping oil like a pro with my fancy funnel. Totally worth how much it simplifies things.

Hope you guys are bored today, because I'll be posting a few more pics. Trying a new oil for the first time. Same additive for extra lube.

They claim 10, but I'd say a solid 8.

Also lost the back seat. -100lbs for the day once the antigravity battery goes in.

@AriuSen had antigravity battery long time ago but don't know why he got rid of it.

It's the cusco bar. I'll be doing a half cage and tower reinforcement in the future, so I'll hold off for that.

I can't do harnesses until I get proper seats anyways. My traps are 3" above the top of the seat.

Okay its not bad for the price https://www.vividracing.com/catalog/...-p-145619.html. I need a half cage or harness bar since I have fixed back seats. I also found autopower makes half cages for the M3 at a pretty decent price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/AUTOPOWER-RA...dVjvyO&vxp=mtr

Nice, I didn't even know these existed. Seems worthwhile just to make it easier to reach the brake fluid reservoir.

I use the MOS2 additive, but only one can per oil change.

Shocking how light the new battery is. I'm surprised you didn't show off your state of the art, 1 of 1 eco-friendly battery mounting system. lol

I'm going to hold off on posting a pic of my stuffed pillow wedge mount.... I'll post pics of a more permanent solution.
