Just an FYI for the DCT owners. The newest update I just got seems to smooth out the low speed shifting into 2nd gear. Where the original "fix" for the LONG delay was an aggressive blip of the throttle and then engaging 2nd, it seems like less of a blip and second is engage more smoothly.
I got it when I told them I wanted my shift lights to stay on everytime I turn on the car and said the radio would just lock up at times where there's sound, but I cant turn it off or change the station. Credit goes to Montoya: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=380130

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Has anyone had this issue? I went to the car wash yesterday.
When I was done, turned on my car and a transmission malfunction warning came up on my idrive screen. So I turned the car off and restarted it and the message was gone??? Ideas??? |

Add me to the list for Club M-DCT. 12 hours in and I think I'm going to really like this.
