Can i get a quote for the following -
18x10" Front 275/35/18 - 18x10.5" Rear 295/35/18 and also the 18x10" square setup. It's to suit an E92 M3 doing occasional track work (these will the the dedicated track wheels). Can i also get another price including R compound tires (whatever you'd recommend for a mostly mid to high speed circuit) fitted to the rims. I'm based in Australia so I'd most likely get it all fitted up and shipped with tires on. Thanks. Thanks! |

I'm actually thinking of 265/35/18 setup on 18x10 square set up since i got a great deal on 265/34/18 RS-3s. Technically, my rear has about 1" smaller diameter compared to OEM setting, but i'm more focused on performance on the track as they will be my track setup. In addition, I will probably have 1.5-1.7 Camber Angle on my car with pin-out method.

Using the 275/35/18 tire on the 18x9.5" ET22 wheel is a bit oversized, and due to the tires being ballooned with a narrower wheel, the tires effectively become ~270/35/18 since the tread is pulled in as the tire bead is pulled in. This happens when a tire is mounted on a wheel that is too narrow. Additionally, there would be less sidewall support from a wheel that is too narrow creating sloppier sidewalls, which in turn causes steering response to be less nimble and makes it more difficult to drive a tire at its limits. For street use this may not be an issue, but if one is looking for performance we do recommend the proper tire size and wheel width combination.
