You just sign up for what ever run group you normally would and turn in a competition form. There are no special groups for the challenges. They time you like every other driver with a transponder. Bimmer Challenge then takes your fastest lap time of the 2nd and 3rd sessions. That's it. So if you were going to get a transponder anyhow, you might as well sign up for the challenge.

So they can run as many "challenges" as they want on any given day (provided there's enough room in the run groups).
Aaaah that's right.

Who's going up to Laguna for bimmer challenge? Let's start planning the caravan now. I don't want to hear any excuses.

Ill be at all of the BC events until September. redpriest and I are probably driving the furthest to all the events. Ill caravan to all of them if anyone wants to meet on the 5 to any of the events.

As for laguna and when the time comes, I'll set up an event at a local restaurant and bar (that i go to all the time when I'm in MRY) that we can all hang out at..

we can do Baja, but i was thinking Turn 12 then Carbone's. Carbone's is by far my favorite dive bar in the area. Pool, darts, juke box, pinball, corn hole, plus a big patio we can smoke cigars on. Cold tap beers and good bar food.

Nothing like a good hangover to teach you how to be smooth on those morning sessions.

Just installed my new steering wheel with momo hub and thin quick release. Went with a BMW horn button to make it look more OEM. Thought the wheel would be too small at 330mm but it's perfect.

Looks great. Glad everything worked out for you!

I think I bought that same horn and returned it. Gotta have that rice going on.

Also picked up track decals. Bunch of friends wanted it huge. Now I'm a bit scared to put them on and look like an idiot LOL

But this guy wins in biggest decal ever.

I have a vinyl sticker but use blue tape to secure mine. So at least I can remove on the street and I can use the vinyl anywhere.
