lot's of young guys on here talking about "being blessed" to have a nice car @ a young age. Call me what you will; I'm sure a 20 something has help from someone other than the Lord when it comes to financially securing an expensive car.

Shit I was making great money in m early twenties and had a brand new Evo 9, but it still is nowhere near the cost of an M3.

I do agree … I purchased my first ever new BMW (see 535is garage) when I was 50 in cash. My first m3 in 2004. I don't think a 20 someting year old will ever expreriance the feeling I had at 50 or at 67 when I purchase my first M3.

In the late 60s the Pagoda (Mercedes-Benz 280 SL see my 1969 Restored Garage) new was near $9K in Canada (I know I test drove one and loved it), I would have had to put a salary equivelant of 3 years on the table to get one way back then. I guess it is at the same for young fellows today when comparing the price of an M3 here in Canada today. Then again it might be only 2 years sallary or even just one year for someone in there 20s.

Lot's of the younger generation (on post 1 above) I assume lease an M3 or finance it and if they manage there money right it is doable. It was for me in my mid 20s I financed all my cars up until I was 50.

So in the end I think it's all relative.

Of course, my mom co signed it else i wouldn't of able to get it.
Also got it used/financing it. pretty sure its not that hard to finance a car nowadays.
