The kits aren't all built, but we do have all of the components to build them. We will be able to ship within two business days of the order being placed. Orders will be filled in the order in which they are received.

Thank you for the orders gents! I wanted to let you know that we only have one CP5060/355mm brake kit remaining! Once it's gone, we won't be offering those particular kits any longer. If you were on the fence, snag the last one now!
https://www.essexparts.com/essex-des...p5060355mm-e92 Also, we got so many orders yesterday that we got cleaned out of the 355mm discs. We have another shipment from AP inbound however. If you order a kit that uses these discs we will be able to deliver it to you in December. We don't charge your credit card until the kit ships, and we will honor the sale price even if we don't have it in stock. Thanks! |

My installer has fitted a multitude of high quality products over the years but they said the engineering and quality of the kit, was the best they had ever seen. It is almost a shame to put them on the car as opposed to display them at home!

Gentlemen,
We now have pad tension kits available for the rear CP5040/340mm brake kits (brake kit part#13.01.10018). The tension kits are part #13.05.30012, and they are $19 each. You need one for each caliper, so you need to order two of them. These are a small spring clip, not a billet piece...hence the lower cost. They aren't on our website, so you have to call to order at 704-824- six zero three zero. Thanks, and hopefully this is helpful! |

pic of rear kit. seriously though, more information in this thread. Post11 and few others. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1126953 I went with the cp9660 kit as I dont do any endurance racing -among other reasons. I think there was something like Machined block when I was originally doing my research and comparison. Either way, don't think you will be dissatisfied with either choice. For me, anti-rattle clips are a must as I cannot stand having car sound like it was haphazardly put together! No offense to those who enjoy running without it. Looks like some of my flickr photos have been removed.. Hmm will have to update the links. Someday... Last edited by Chuck's M3; 03-26-2018 at 08:27 PM.. |

Thank you for the continued support gents! I hope you enjoy your brakes in 2018 and beyond. I want to see some pics when you guys get those beauties installed!
Also, I have an important announcement for anyone else considering an Essex/AP Racing Brake Upgrade! Since the introduction of AP Racing's revolutionary Pro5000R Radi-CAL calipers in 2015, we have managed to hold our prices at the introductory level. For 2018 however, we've had a substantial cost increase from AP Racing on these calipers. As such, we have no choice but to pass some of that increase along. Effective March 1st 2018, retail prices on all brake kits that include Pro5000R Radi-CAL calipers will increase by $300 (CP9660, CP9668, CP9449, 9450, 9451). That includes both front and rear kits. If you're considering one of these kits in the near future, now is the time to place your order! Our Radi-CAL Competition Brake Kits are the most unique and most capable brake systems on the market, offering a laundry list of benefits that are unobtainable elsewhere at any price. They remain a bargain at the new retail prices, and will continue to transform our customers' track time from frustrating to fun. Thank you for your continued support as we move into 2018, and please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. |

Question for the vendor - I am about done with my second set of rear stock rotors/pads at 105,000 miles and looking to lose some weight and gain some performance on an almost-purely-street E90 that is already equipped with Stoptech STR40 front kit. Thoughts on pairing with the Essex 340mm CP5060 rear kit? I would probably swap pads up front to match the rear and do DS2500's or something similar all around to keep from mismatching pads. I would go STR40 rear as well, but I think the 355x32 rotor is the definition of overkill back there and I don't want the extra weight (nor will I be buying a front kit, in case your salesman's impulses can't help themselves )
