Looks like a blast! Did the RS and STi (or anyone else) tag along that day?

Yea a few cars found us up there and they joined us for lunch. They commented how nice and accommodating we were. Specifically that they thought we would have our noses in the air. We were stoked to have them join us.

Through pure happenstance BOOF and Get Lit put together a magical day on the Dragon. In my twenty trips to the place, I have never had the road completely to myself. But on this day it all came together. The rain and snow parted just in time. We had a morning with virtually no motorcycles, very few other vehicles, and zero cops.

A quiet mountain top Sunday morning was the stage for a symphony of a dozen and half S65 v-8's singing in their high octave. Accompanied by the howl of an F430 Ferrari, it really doesn't get better than this.

But the best part was to see the "Joy" in the eyes of everyone, each time the group would stop. To all who were there I say thank you for a truly memorable experience.

Three pedal steve is badass. He has more driving knowledge in his left foot and right hand than anyone who came on the mountain this day. Happy to have met you Steve and thank you for the kind words. I plan on writing something up when I have more time to put my thoughts together about the experience. I imagine others are seeing this and thinking "oh yea, I'm sure it was ok". But having hung out with this group and doing what we did it truly was a perfect storm. It's hard to put into words how cool it really was.

Full out and back video is Exporting, then I'll upload it.
The GoPro sectioned off the videos at 12:00 mark for some reason and I had to clip them together. The second one went black and I couldn't get it back, so that one will be short.
That's all the editing I'll have time for though. (Doing this at work.... shhhh...)

It'll be up before the end of the day unless something happens.

Mine did the same for each of my three videos. They all stopped right at 17:35. What's the best way to clip the second part to each respective video?

I downloaded Openshot video editor. It's free and it gets the job done. Kinda quirky if you start adding fades though.

Here you go for anyone that wants to see.

GoPro creates “chapters” for a couple reasons.. FAT32 formatting, etc. Also in case something happens you don’t lose your entire file.

That’s why I haven’t posted mine yet as I have to join the chapters..

Congrats to you guys on the wonderful day. Next time I'll have to get my ass out there. In the meantime I've enjoyed the buildup and the payoff. Thanks for all of the pictures.

I used the Openshot program that thetastelingers recommended to join up. Program is super easy to use, but it did not upload the audio for some reason. Plays with audio in the program, but silent once it has exported. Regardless, even with the enclosed case I had it in, it still sounds like a tornado. Need to use that adapter you got me!

Just in case it helps, I exported using Web and Youtube-HD
It took a long time, but worked out.

Easy recon run on Saturday before the meet. Good bit of debris, not much traffic. Decent soundtrack.

Agreed. You have sold me, Todd. I'm trying to figure out audio for mine right now, but it is a joke...nothing but wind noise (even with a completely enclosed case for my Go Pro 3).

Totally. But an F5 tornado is music to anyone's ears!

But seriously, I just finished a small length video edit to try and export it differently. Looks like sound works. Exporting the big file right now to get it up to YouTube. Going to take some time...

Our second run of the day at the front of the pack. Skip to five minutes or so to get some speed. Sorry for the sound quality!

The Dragon looks so foreign this time of year! No bikes, Deals Gap "Closed for the season", empty parking lots...

...good for you!

Looks like fun.
