More like who cares what it sounds like for 30 seconds in your garage..

Anyway sounds fine with an upgraded exhaust. E92 with stock cat-back isn't that great either the intake just sounds good.

Ftfy, and I'm sadly one of those people that care. I flip my IPE switches open for a second on startup because I hate how hushed it sounds with the valves closed when the motor initially fires to life.

There's also a big difference between a stock exhaust sounding a bit muted, and a stock exhaust sounding like a construction worker trying to jackhammer his way out of your trunk every cold start; C&D agrees.

For me, I'm done with BMW. There is no more soul left in the M brand.

If I need a 4 door, it'll be the C63S.

For a fun 2 door, I've been looking for a 997.1 GT3RS. Maybe the AMG GT-S that just won Motor Trend's best driver's car.
