{ahem} it's a proposal of sorts... Are you too busy for "bam-chika-bow-wow"?

Yes, but that's too many characters (at least here in CO). I suppose it could be shortened to U2BZ469. But to richpuer's point, good luck explaining that one to DMV for approval.

i guess i'm too old. personalized plates just seem either like you're trying too hard or douchey ... but no offense, some of these are pretty clever.

I had the ultimate vanity plate on my hot Plymouth Sundance:
CYIMB4U I got a rude comment on that when I upgraded to a VW, so I dropped it when I traded into a 550i. It was a little funny on a hoopty. Funniest one I have seen was on an early Prius: OMG BKY Kills me everytime I think about it. |

I tried "M CUBED" or "MCUBED" but both are already taken.
I was thinking of something like "OMG M3" just because I cracked up the first time I saw an "OMG ROFL" license plate. Innocent and silly. |

I just picked the tags up for my new car at the dealer. These ARE NOT personalized tags. They are issued arbitrarily by New Jersey Division of Motor Vehicles. They read F90-AMG.
Jeez' I wish they could have rejected any tag with the AMG combination.

Look at the bright side - at least it doesn't say C63-AMG. Not only would that be ironic and funny, but people would think you got a new car and were too cheap to change the plates. Of course, someone probably already has that plate anyway.
But, if you really can't stand the plate, just think of an arbitrary number and letter combination and go get a personal plate with that on it. |

Subtle is ok. I've got a Jerez black with fox red. M666 SLL
M = M Division 666 = The Beast (I'm not religious and being 50% Chinese that's actually a lucky number) SLL = All 3 of my initials :-) |

.....and to be fair a friend found one for me that said CHIINNK which although fairly amusing would have gone down like a cup of cold sick with my old man and driving through Chinatown would have been a no no.
