In the USA? How? The seats aren't legal, it's not emissions legal, etc.

That is unknown right now, and may not be correct. They could end up as "legal" if tested, presented and accepted. As of now such items have not been certified because it has not been attempted. Yet.

Can't believe so many people would want those seats in their DD sedan, it's like getting violated every time you get in- in a hurry
As for the car goes, too much diff for so few add ons except a numbered car for collection, my question is why they didn't make it in the coupé version? Congrats on the car igirl |

The car has to be crashed tested and the engine has to be tested/certified by the EPA.

An individual vehicle that is a variant of a previously-certified model does not have to be crash tested. Testing of an engine depends upon the existence of prior certification, among other things.

BMW M3 CRT will not be offered in North America.
The seats remain exclusive to the CRT for now. They will become available further down the line but are as of now exclusive to the CRT. The M3 CRT is here because the Sedan is close to the end of production and of course extinction. An M3 Coupe running the same philosophy as the CRT but with further progress will be announced in 2012 prior to the end of M3 production.
