I look forward to seeing photos off all those colors together. They should certainly look quite different than what we usually see.

Boot lid looks great. Wish I can make it to the photoshoot but I'm way over on the East Coast.

Thanks so much guys. I'm pleased that the bootlid is getting such a positive reaction. I love it. It was the single piece i KNEW i wanted on the car from even before I placed my order for the car. Now seeing it on, truly reinforces my decision to get it. It looks great. But I won't lie it's had more than its share of fitment issues. I'll comment on this more later in my post detailing the install. Why haven't I shown you guys more pics yet? Because I'm thinking it might be nice to unveil the trunk at our upcoming BMW Individual Photo shoot. We'll see. Either way I'll do a full post with before and after shots and a small write up. Thanks again everyone for the kind words - esquire

Absolutely stunning!! Never knew Dakar Yellow looked THIS good in the real flesh, not just in the config animation. Lovely choice of mods, too! I do have a few questions to ask: Have you) "broken in" your M3 for performance mods yet? If so, is there a way of knowing that you did? (I have no idea how the break-in thing works, only heard that you drive the car around 500 miles(?) before the engine "breaks in" and you can start performance mods. (Help me out!!) And were all the parts installed by EAS? Cheers! |

i'm not sure what config animation you're talking about. last i checked i sure as shit didn't pay 5k extra for a car that can be configured stock from bmw's configurator. if so, please let me know so i can ask bmw for a refund ! thanks ! Quote:
regarding performance mods - you can install these at any time including during your engine's break in period. the only problem is that if you install them during your break in period, you won't be able to notice a performance difference before and after your installation. why? because during your break in period you can't truly feel the performance of the car anyway given that you're always under 5k rpms (which for this car is nothing). My logic on this topic was to wait until i had broken in my car to install my performance mods, that way I would at least feel the difference before and after. no. not all. hope that helps, -esquire

Usually when i see an M3 its unique because it pushes the wow factor with mods. This is extremely tastefully modified. The change to the piano black trim was extremely classy. If only it was reasonable for a college student to own an M3

In person this car is the epitome of tastefully modded. Once this car has a Euro bumper, it'll be perfect.
