My modified M3 has been out on the roads the last couple of weeks and I am way more north than a lot of you. Roads are fine here in Northern Maine.

I've been out with mine. My biggest complaint are some of the potholes out there. It looks like I am on a autocross course by working to avoid them...

Yesterday my dealer provided me with my production number (111 order status). It is scheduled to arrive sometime mid to late May. I am still a bit back-n-forth on the exterior color. Currently it is being built with Melbourne Red but I am also considering Le Mans Blue. IMO, color selection can be so difficult. I wanted to try something different from my usual black, grey and silver.
Current build: Premium pkg Competition pkg Heated seats DCT Enhanced Audio Carbon Fiber Roof Black Kidney Grilles Rear spoiler delete (prep for carbon rear spoiler) black interior w/ carbon leather trim |

Do a search for "New England Car show Calendar". Lists a huge number of show events and cruise nights.
Also: Herb Chambers Cars & Coffee events Larz Andersen Cars & Coffee events Larz Andersen BMW day & German Car Day Mark's cruise night (every monday) Plenty of stuff. just have to search.

I can understand and if I am being honest, MT was my first/preferred choice. But other considerations pushed me to selecting the DCT. I have test driven both and I still miss the MT from my last 530i Sport. Oh well, perhaps another time.

You will not regret getting the DCT. Acts like a manual when you want it to be and can shift and rev match Better than many of the dual clutch manuals out there.

I agree that the DCT can shift faster than I can hope to accomplish. It's just the mechanical connection to the car that I'll miss.

With another 8-16" of snow predicted on Tuesday (depending on where you live), raise your hand if you have seen enough of winter.....Let's move onto spring and warmer temperatures.

This was heavy wet snow. Makes it more slippery when it gets packed down a bit. I had to back down two blocks when my E90M3 on snows could go no further up a steep hill. First time I have had to do that in 2 years with the M3. Snow was fairly deep as well and I lowered my car last summer on H&R Sports, so that did not help.

Some forecasters are saying that another storm could hit next week. I love to ski so generally speaking the winter doesn't bother me. However with March coming to a close, enough of the cold and snow/ice. Let's move forward to spring and allow the road crews to fix the potholes. |

My current DD is a Jeep Grand Cherokee (new style). For now, it's nice to be able to drive up my unplowed driveway even through the wall created at the base by the town plows. |
