+1. I really enjoyed the M2, I can't imagine it with the S55. That engine makes a ton of power pretty easily. Any idea on the cost?

Any cost talk is theoretical at the moment but I am expecting limited quantities and premium pricing as a result ... perhaps in the M3/M4 range. More if they release it as an M2 GTS (though that seems to be off the table for now).

For those running JRZ RS Pro, what spring lengths are you using? I'm thinking 6" front and 7" rear in 700/800.

5" front. 8" rear. 2.25" inside diameter.

I don't use helper/tender springs front or rear.

6" front will limit how fat a tire you can run up front because the spring perch will sit lower and potentially get in the way. In the rear, I would not run as short as 7". You'll be extending that height adjuster pretty far down. Either run 8 or 9". (JRZ spec'd 8" on my car.)

I know it's not the same but for my MCS setup Vorshlag recommended a 7" front and 9" rear spring (no helpers), both 60mm and I went with 600/900 rates. I believe the spring length recommendation also has to do with my desire to go only slightly lower than ZCP ride height.

Shorter spring is better for clearance. 2.25 dia also. I'm running a 5" with a helper. Spring unseats a droop so helper was necessary.

Also think S55 in the M2 will be a pretty wild ride. Short chassis with tire width limitations and an engine with pretty crazy torque delivery.

I think a higher output B58 would have been a better choice since the power delivery is closer to NA.

Less rotating mass. Ditches 12 lbs of weight that the car has to move before it reaches the differential.

It's stiffer and also isn't two pieces so slight benefit from more direct drivetrain.

correct, gets rid of the two piece design for a more direct feel. i didn't realize how "loose" the driveline is until i got solid bushings. the clunk of the actual driveshaft is more pronounced now.
its said that the engine spins more "freely" and there is less driveline power loss. i will be doing a detailed review when i get mine in. i'm a very big fan of the small mods that all add up and work together to enhance the "feel" of the car.

I'm not putting anymore into my E92 as I may be moving on.

But it's a good mod when you can't add power.

Continuing to work on my stuck brake caliper issue, I've been measuring disc temps after each trip to make sure the problem hasn't returned (no huge spikes seen yet). I ordered a set of solid guide pins in hopes that it will help caliper movement, as well as a set of PFC Direct Drive V3 rotors since I shredded mine by wearing through the pad.

Justin at PFC was really helpful in troubleshooting the problem with me over the phone, and he's even sending me a free replacement set of PFC08 pads. I'm impressed.

how's it getting stuck? just not releasing when you let off the brakes? have you tried unscrewing the guide pin to see if the rubber has melted or deformed?

I know it may be dumb and simple but did you make sure you lubricated the guide pins and clean/ put a little caliper slide grease where the pad floats in the carrier to avoid pads seizure?

Hey Mobbin, I would go shorter than 7" in front too. I did the 7f/9r" setup on the recommendation of Vorshlag as well. I can't remember which is which, but I think the rear I have as high as it will go while the front is as low as it will go. Made corner balancing difficult to achieve a good balance and ride height. I wouldn't do that setup again if I replaced my springs... I did 600/900 and am very happy.
