My first BMW was a red 1992 E34 525i sport, bought that back in 1996. Kept that for two years then I bought a 1991 E34 M5 3.6. I sold that in 2001 & got a e36 328is, probably the most 'fun' Bmw I've owned. I kept that until 2011 but also bought an E39 540i 6 speed manual, which I kept for three years as Mrs Chappers was using the e36 as her dd.
In 2011 I got a 2006 e92 35i which I sold three weeks ago & I now have the 40i G31.
To early to tell about the G31 but all the others apart from the 328is were money pits, especially the M5 & the 35i but they were all great cars.

On my 3rd currently. Just purchased a 2015 X5 50i, but my previous two were a 2016 F30 340i and then a 2011 E92 M3. I've loved them all.

Owned this bad boy for approximately 30 minutes. Yes, this was the day after I purchased it as the motor nearly grenaded as I was driving home from the dealership.
