Very nice. I'll be doing those bushings soon.

How difficult was dropping the rear subframe?

Subframe was easy to drop out. Bushings were a pita to remove but if you have the right tools it's much easier.

I'm sure the subframe isn't too crazy on a lift. Couldn't imagine the pain in the ass it would be on jacks.

I used a combination of steel wire brushes attached to a cordless drill. Once the paint was removed I applied Brasso metal polish with a microfiber towel. The inner tips now have a brushed titanium look that I think looks much better than the aged black paint that was there prior.

As for the brushes, I used a flat 2" fine wire brush to get most of the paint off. Switched to a 1" fine wire brush for the inner opening and edges. Last, cleaned up the crevices and grooves with the black paint overspray with a dremel carbon steel wire brush.

I read that some others used paint strippers, but I didn't need them with the wire brush attachments. I think they were doing it by hand.

Nah its all in good fun. My car is stock besides the common visual mods. AMG owners don't seem to be butt hurt about it they just take a picture and laugh and I just give a thumbs up.

How difficult was it to remove the old spoiler? Looking to do this but am concerned about doing damage getting the old one off. Also, did you use Betalink on the new one?

I used fishing line to cut the oem tape. Then you can use a heat gun and slowly remove any left over tape. Then some grease/wax remover will pull any left over residue off.

I used a blow dryer and plastic packing straps and would make jigsaw motions to get the glue off. Make sure to wear gloves. Finally, I used goo gone to get the adhesive material off along with a microfiber cloth and friction. I threw the microfiber towel away after use.

I did the double-sided adhesive method. I did a little video of it here

Installed my euro Depo tails:

Quality is way better than what the haters will lead you to believe. At $400 shipped for a brand new set, it's way worth it.
