Honestly. i am at the point where i start investing the $50 or so dollars into a motel just to sleep the night before...and this was only a recent change.

back when i started tracking when i was 18 (i'm 30 now), i would always pull all nighters when doing prep and stuff... then driving 2 hours at 4am to make tech and drivers meeting by 7:30am..with no sleep or some sleep..

loaded up on a 4pck of red bull, make the drive...then get hit with massive bubble guts at 1st session... and completely miss it

I did accidentally book a 4 star hotel near my track day this time since I was too late for the group rate where we usually go. It actually made a big difference, getting an above average nights sleep throughout the event.

I got a few of them off via drilling, but it sucks. I believe there is just the airbag light, but I already have that from the seats and passenger dash airbag being gone.
I'll have some time this week to finish the job and I'll report back.

You can code the seat airbags off, not sure about the dash though.

You can code it all out. Disconnect the airbag system under then center console, and worth removing / disconnecting the crash sensors.

Nice to see the car continuing to progress.

So, what tires will you be running in your upcoming events?
This past weekend at Ratl, I was on Yokohama A005s. Hards. Due to supply chain stuff, IMSA Pro racing teams are prioritized so I couldn't get Michelins.

Yokos felt like Hoosiers. Almost DEAD Michelins with about 300kms on them felt just as fast as Yokos.
Nice to know. When you can find them, do you run mainly the Michelin slick hard compound or their medium compound? Thanks Evice

This is what I did, allowed me to remove all the air bag wiring as well. Its probably 5-7lbs of wire and connectors once you get it all out.

Per Alpine you can't code out the windshield washer fluid alert but if you guys find out differently let me know

Requires a resistor is my understanding.

Swapping pads for Laguna on Thursday. This is honestly insane to me. The wider portion almost looks like 0 wear. These are ferodo ds1.11 on the rears AP 9449 kit. Fronts are wearing evenly

Fronts. Life left but swapping compounds all around to ds3.12. So will just keep these as spares.

need some input, so i am working on practicing my left foot brake.. pretty much everyday. will be implementing that at willow springs saturday.

my issue is that i've notice. my thicc thighs prevent me from feeling comfortable doing it.

i'm about a 38-40in waist to give an idea of that.. i just feel the pedal is so far away from my left foot... if i am not already pre-staging my left foot on the brake it feels like an eternity.. especially since i am of a larger build.

i am DCT so no need of concern of a clutch pedal... was thinking of getting a larger brake pedal .-.

what have you done to make left foot braking more comfortable, for you?

I "pre-stage" it too. Immediately after downshift. In a manual.

Only on cotton corners and and sweeper lol

Pinnacle in the UK makes a larger brake pedal cover if you want an easy plug n play option
