Yes it is

We have also just finished our custom DCT software for the supercharger system and it is currently being installed in two of our customers cars. The M3 will run under boost with the stock DCT software but to make it perform properly you need to write custom software that makes proper adjustments for the added power and torque.

That kit looks sooo clean I love the black bracket

ESS is the only company I would trust with a project like this. After having software from them in my current and prior car and getting a ride in their M3 I know first hand how good they really are.

These F/I setups look so nice on these M3s! Makes me a bit jealous you guys get all the cool toys. Out of curiosity, have you guys ever considered looking at the 6.3 AMG and seeing if a F/I solution could be developed? I know there's been a lot of interest, but so far nothing. Right now we seem to be stuck at around 560-570 hp with bolt-ons.

We havent looked into doing FI on MB yet sorry.

Is this one of those kits that could be installed by the serious do-it-yourselfer, or is there a significant portion of the install where just having had experience of having done of bunch of them is invaluable?

That is, are there parts of the install where skill and diligence are not enough to overcome experience? You know the type of situation where something in a tight space can only be removed in one certain position or where the sequence is so specific that you get in trouble if you don't know it.

We are double checking our power ratings on US 91-93 octane on the MAHA dyno this weekend. Once we have exact numbers I will post them.

The kit is pretty straight forward for a good mechanic but it requires detailed instructions for DIY guys which we are still working on.

We will have 2 cars in Vegas for SEMA if anyone plans on going this year
