Re-use studs?

I'm taking my car to the dealer tomorrow for some service. Don't want any unnecessary questions so I uninstalled the Turner wheel studs that were installed last spring. Does anyone know if they can be re-used after being heated... or should I just buy a new set & call it good?

Studs should be replaced every track season.

For the street, you should be fine.

Do you guys normally use Locktite for studs? I've done that on my Lotus at the advice of my garage but i've also seen people just put 100 lbs of torque on em.

This is my question as well.

If I do use locktite, should it be red or blue?

Torque for studs to hub is quite low, around 20 ft-lbs. Some vendors give a value, others say finger tight. You should use high temp red loctite on them.

Lug nut to stud torque is normal, I use 85-90 ft-lbs.

The shop that did my studs said the same thing. Hand tighten(about 16ft-lbs I read) with loctite, then torque lugnut to ~88ft-lbs.
