Just ordered M3 conv.

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum and can't wait to participate in the discussions. On Feb 26 I placed an order for a Le mans blue M3 Conv. So far I haven't received a build week but have been given a production number and been told that it should be a April production. Is there anyone else that has an April production? I live in Vancouver, BC so I'm assuming that if it is a April production I should get it by late June is that correct?

Thanks

Ordered mine (E90) 4 March, 2011. It looks like I will also have a production date in April at this point - scheduled for production with no production date (status code 112).

Congrats! Great colour choice.

My M3 finished production 1st week of February and just arrived in Vancouver last weekend (I'm on the island so another week or so before I take delivery).

If you get really lucky with the boats/trains I'd say it can take as little as 5 weeks, usually about 6-8 though.

I ordered the day after you. 2/27. It took my dealer about 2 weeks to get a production week to me, (week 13 ie: 3/28). Both or your dealers should have a production week to give you. Whenever I call BMWNA is still says no scheduled production date, but it comes up as week 13 at the dealer. Get in touch with them.

I'm expecting mid May.

Ordered mine 3/10 and it just started production today with an estimated completion of 3/29. I guess the dealer was telling me the truth when they said they were using one of their existing production slots to fill my order.

Thats great news for those of you whose cars went into production. I emailed my sales agent today to find out the status on mine. It sucks that we can't check on BMWNA website or the 1800 number.

Ugh. Performance Center Delivery scheduled 5/19. They must really be backed up.

I was just squeezed in for a May 12th PCD, otherwise i wouldve just picked up my car from the dealer around april 12th. Its currently waiting at port for a ship. I couldnt pass up a chance to do PCD and get some break in miles done at the same time.

I placed my order on the 8th of December and had a 1st week of Feb build date. I pick it up tomorrow! The wait sucks but you will definitely appreciate it more and learn a ton about the car from obsessively reading these forums.
