Traded 335i for GT-R!!!!!!!!!!

You can see my Bimmer behind it. Picked it up yesterday. Already caught people taking pictures of it.

By the way, parting out the Bimmer.

Enjoy it. My problem is I'm not willing to give up the convertible. My next car may be an R8 spyder.

hmmm, if only they were reasonably priced in Canada.. or North America for that matter.

Great Choice. Enjoy the technojunkie toy.

Mid 60's on price. As for the SRT8 forum...not on there anymore...no SRT8. Yeah, I noticed I matched yesterday. Trust me, it wasn't planned. I'm pretty excited as yesterday was a big moment in my life that I've looked forward to for a long time. I got to put 100 miles on it driving it from Oklahoma City back to Tulsa. It's amazing the people that look at you in it. I understand a $1400 Cobb tune put 550 to the pavement and runs in the 10's!!!

Completely different ballgame as far as comparing the 2 cars. My BMW and I had a love/hate relationship. It was my favorite car up until now, but the problems with it really...well sucked. I really liked the plushness of the BMW. It's a solid car. I loved the stereo, nav, etc...

The GT-R makes a lot of weird noises starting with the tranny. You can hear it working. You can hear the whole car and it's parts working. It's actually kind of cool though. The performance is just stupid. I haven't complete felt it out yet though. I have to get a feeling for where the redline is as I haven't hit it yet. It's just an animal off the line and I love the sound.

I always felt I had something to prove in the BMW, like beating certain cars. It was such a sleeper. I have nothing to prove anymore.

wondering how reliable are those cars....I am looking for a "keeper" myself, something that I can drive trouble free for 100k miles or more. I am tired of switching cars......I dont know if I can afford a used GT-R though, was looking for used Cayman S recently..

Congrats very nice

what year is the GT-R?

if you wanted plushness and all that why not look into a 911? may not be as fast but still very nice. or a Corvette ZO6, they make stupid power and make even more easier.

any reason why the GT-R?

Test drove 2 Z's and I like the GT-R better. Plus it has a back seat and I have a 1 year old. Also, it's easy for my wife to drive being an auto. I liked the exclusivity of it better as well, Never looked into the Porsche too much. It's a 2009. Sorry for the runon's today as I'm busy in the office.
