So, when i order new rims...i need to ask ask if TPMS fits and I need to order a set from Tirerack and when i get my tires wrapped get them to install them?

Well, if it saves me from buying TPMS for winter and track wheels... maybe...

Like a couple people above said, you can have your TMPS coded out, but i would highly recommend you just spend the money for the sensors. GL

Could one do this at home with a bav tech tool? I'm curious because I don't feel like being burdened with them for track wheels. Regular summers and snows are a different story.

I doubt the Bav Auto tool has the capability. A shop with the AutoLogic system could probably do it, but then you wouldn't have it fo the street, either.

Turner sells a emulation module that will send the required signal to the sensors so you won't get the light. It says its compatible with E9x but not sure about the M3. Might be worth checking out though.
