It's never enough for some of us (including myself).
Waiting on the dyno shop to email me the SAE files this morning. He saved them on my flash drive as STD. For some reason most of the 135/335 owners like using STD.

OK here we go... Couple of snapshots from the dyno day at TopSpeed, a short video of the two runs shot by fellow M3Post member (elm3), and two dyno charts. This was a basic dyno day for only $30 per vehicle, so I just have the base numbers to share. Dyno was done in 4th gear on 93 octane.
Backing on the rollers. It was an AWD Dynojet. I'm the big guy in the middle. 5.5 PSI 5.5 PSI / 100 shot of Nitrous

So you're running a VT1 with a smaller pulley? I thought the VT1 was 4.5 PSI

I only run 93 octane fuel and have the ability to cool the extra boost with my nitrous system. If I plan to track the car I would re-install the 4.5psi pulley.

Buddy that's just daft!!
Cool but daft!! So everytime you want to go super fast, you hit the button? How many turbo boosts do you get for a bottle? Lastly, how long does the nitrous get shoved into the charge air? |

I could probably make ten 1/4 mile passes on 10lb bottle.

Not on the bottle. But Major props to Mike, great guy, and I love what he's doing for us! Just goes to show how strong this motor is, 93 octane, 5.5 psi and a 100 shot takes some big cojones!

All of us FI guys are putting more stress on the DCT, but they seem to be doing good so far.
Several transmissions in the GTR have gone out on stock/unmodified cars, so I think BMW has done a fine job. The max torque input limit on the DCT is 443 lb./ft, so I believe if we stay under that number will do ok. Somebody had to say it.

Damn, I must say WOW.
BUT, how safe do you think it is just running the single fogger right at the blower output?? Im talking about even distribution? I would think that eventually the single fogger(I don't know what "shot") will not distribute the nitrous/fuel evenly to all the cylinders. |
