Angel eye daytime running lights out on one side
Hi all, just wondering if anyone here has had problems with their daytime running lights aka angel eyes burn out on you before.
08 E90 M3 and one side is not working. Bi Xenon lights are working fine though. Anyone know what kind of bulbs they use? Thanks, |

Simple fix, it's just a regular H8 bulb...you can pick one up at the dealer and install it yourself

Thanks for the replies. Even replacing it every year would be weird wouldn't it? If its a regular bulb (H8) you would think it would last a little longer than 1 year even if its on as a daytime running light.
I have been reading about the Lux kit and it seems like a great overall kit and much brighter. |

From about the 3rd day after I picked mine up I'll get random "left datyime running light out" warnings on iDrive and before I get home it starts working again. Maybe the bulb is loose or something.

if you call that gorgeous....I had the same kit man and its far from gorgeous. HIDs are too bright to use as Angel Eyes. From a distance, its a messy blob of light. Absolutley no definition in the circles.
