Thanks!
Duncan,
Thanks for organizing a great day. You and Rob did a great job, and all of the instructors were really helpful in getting a newbie like me around the circuit and teaching me the ropes. It was great to get so many laps in one day, work on technique and have fun at the same time. Special thanks to the marshals, who put up with the cold weather this morning (although it is October) and the rain all afternoon. Can't wait until next spring for another day. Ron Here are some quick pics from the day.

Not a bad day at all even with the weather!I think most people had a lot of fun especially the people that braved the rain in the afternoon.I continue to be very impressed by the caliber of people attending and the willingness to learn. Here are some pics that one of lappers took.

Hey guys, it was great meeting some of you yesterday at the track. Lets plan to do a country drive event soon before it gets too cold out there and the snow tires come on!
I shot a few minutes of video while at the track and have posted it for your enjoyment on Vimeo. http://www.vimeo.com/6880215 |

I think Gearhead and Al were joking that they needed to move the wipers from their windshield to their side windows.

Thanks for posting the pics Ron, they look great.
Duncan, I cant see your pictures either However, I think I acquired the lawn maintinance by going in the grass backwads And Jay, you were right on the drive back I had a grin on my face, everything was back to normal, steering is fine, no vibration, however the mileage to change brakes has considerably gone down and the tires AL - in the dry and the first wet lap with you was a lot of fun, I think I could have never had the confidence to do that with my vehicle, if it wasnt for your direction All in all a great track day! Was great seeing you all, special thanks to duncan and rob, instructors, and marshals for organizing such a great event. P.S. will be posting my pictures soon, including the grass shots |
