Probably best to ask this in the detailing forum.
A question like this is going to get you a different answer from almost every person you ask. Depends a lot on the color of your car, climate, budget, durability objectives, etc. Lots of good products out there, just make sure you prep the car well prior to waxing for best results. |

Mate...
I highly recommend Zymol Vintage if you have several dark color vehicles. Its pricey but is only worth it if you have a few cars to do and/or have mates willing to chip in with you. I chipped in with my brother, sister and good mate to buy Vintage but its benefits apart from the 1st class shine and care is the unlimited refill for life. Works out well because our all 7 of our cars are waxed once every 1.5 months. URL: http://www.zymol.com/zymolvintageglaze22oz.aspx Alternatively the other product i would recommend would be Zymol Destiny. URL: http://www.zymol.com/zymoldestinyglaze8oz.aspx This is what i was using for the past 1.5yrs until i managed to convince my bro, sis and mate to chip in with me on the Vintage. Black comes up like a dream with Destiny and is best bang for buck.

The wax doesn't matter that much - get what you like. The key to the whole thing is surface prep. Wash, claybar, polish, seal and top it off with your favorite wax.

Lots of opinions here so I'll give mine based on past experience.
Zymol - Great product that results in unbelievable shine but you're gonna need those free refills because the product doesn't last very long. If you don't want to be detailing every month, this is not for you. Swissvax - This is the latest trendy high end wax and I don't think there is anything else that will match it's shine however, it is still a carnauba based product so longevity is not one of its strong points. This is another one that you'll need to be detailing at least once every 2 months. Zaino - Zaino is one of those products that you either love it or hate it. It results in good shine and lasts forever. Some people say as long as 6 months. The downside is the application process. It is very hard to work with and depending on your climate, it can take a long time to cure extending your detailing process to an all day affair. Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket - This is a synthetic sealant that I've been using for the past 3 years. I love it. Lasts long with pretty good shine. Do two coats of this and you're good for 6 months. Very easy to apply and remove. The downside is that it is only available at etailers so it's not readily available at your local stores unless you have a high end detailing shop near you. Einszett - A lot of people swear by this stuff. It's long lasting, easy to use, and relatively cheap compared to all the other stuff that has been mentioned here. If you're a beginner and don't want to spend big bucks on detailing, this one is a winner.

autopia will agree, this is the best, P21S autopia will agree. it goes on so easy and takes zero effort to remove if you do a 24 by 24 section at a time (do not leave it on to haze over).
http://www.carcareonline.com/detail....oduct_id=10425 Check out this guys review of zaino. i realize some people love it but these stories always scare me away. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...ighlight=zaino

My typical routine is wash, Menzerna PO85rd polish for minor paint correction, then two coats of Menzerna FMJ for top coat. If I find that I need something with more corrective properties, I add in other steps before the 85rd. I only clay when I feel its absolutely necessary which is maybe once a year. I do this regular routine about 4 times a year. Of course, I try to do weekly washes which is followed by a wipe down with a quick detailer. I use Prima Slick as my quick detailer. The Prima line is also a good one to check out for relatively cheap products that give good results. Check out this place for some good products too. If you have any questions you can either call them or email. The owner is very helpful. Check out the forum on the website too for more opinions on products. http://www.pakshak.com/ http://www.pakshak.org/forums/forums.php Oh. The previous recommendation of P21S is also very good but it's also carnauba based so it doesn't last long. I think that one is known to last about a month or so before another application is required. So you'll have to decide what your priority is. Ultimate shine or longevity. If its shine, go with a carnauba based product. If it's longevity, go with a synthetic.
