Neat calculator I found....

So using the M3's 23.58 frontal area and .310 grag makes an effective frontal area of 7.24....not bad....using the calculator estimates that the wheel HP required to go 190mph is about 378whp....of about the strongest M3 dyno'd yet..... Of course the 208 mph gearing limit of the DCT would take 478whp!!

how do you know the m3's frontal area?

I got it from a website...... but I think its on the website or in the manual
