Anyone else on GRAND NEPTUNE?
My 2009 SG E90 M3 is on GRAND NEPTUNE. Departed Bremerhaven on 9/29/08 and is scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme, CA on 10/20/08.
My CA estimates that the car should be in Seattle on 10/30/08. A day before I am back from vacation in France. Woohoo!! Anyone else on this cargo from this forum?

Just looking at the shipping schedules I figure I must either be on the Grand Neptune or the Isolde, which left 9/26 but won't get to Port Hueneme until 10/23. Even though the GN left 9/29, it will make it to PH sooner, so I hope I'm on it. I was a week 38 build, scheduled for completion on 9/17. Status went to "in transit" on 10/1 according to the 800 number.
BTW, according to http://www.sdmis.org/schedule/, the GN should make port on the 19th, not the 20th, but it's probably a mute point since the PDC doesn't process cars on Sunday anyway. |

BTW, what's the best site to track Grand Neptune? I am using http://mobile.vesseltracker.com/mobi...11&minus=-#map but it seems to be outside of the covered area now. Thanks.

My car is on the Grand Neptune as well. Only one catch...

I was doing a search for information on the Grand Neptune and a link to this "string" came up. My car is also on the Grand Neptune. Here is an exact quote from my dealer at House of Imports of California. "Just got word that your car is on the October 19th boat. This means that it is due to dock at the port in Long Beach on the 19th, but since that is on a Sunday, it will get processed on the 20th. From that point, it will typically take 6 to 8 days for it to arrive at the dealership. I will let you know more when the boat docks!" There's only one catch about my car being on the boat with your cars. My car is a 2009 C63 AMG. Doh! Can you imagine our cars sitting together on that boat? They might be friends now but when they get off the boat...it's on like Donkey Kong! Enjoy your new ride folks. Maybe our paths will cross one day. Peace, Hawth |

Confirmed! I'm on the Neptune. CA won't commit to anything specific for a delivery date other than "late October", but that's cool... When I ordered it (Sept 9) I was told late November.
Now all I need is for someone to post the 09 manual so I can . Last edited by MysticBlue; 10-15-2008 at 04:19 PM.. |
