Do a search on ebay for "e92 m3 clear reflector" and that should pull it up. It looks like a chinese made reflector (not OEM) so in my opinion the quality may be questionable.

I've ordered a pair of the clear reflectors from that ebay seller, so I'll report on the quality when I receive them and the fit whenever my car gets here.

The E46 ones were pretty poor quality.

Just wondering as to why you would choose clear over painted.

because the painted are a poor replacement for the Euro bumper
no car comes stock with something stuck on painted body colour but quite a lot of cars come with a clear reflector and it matches the turn signal part of the headlight |

Even when the paint is matched well, like IND's, it looks a little off to me.

I had clear reflectors on my old E46 M3 and I thought they were ugly. Went with painted after those and it looked much better.

I think the clears will look better on a darker color car. If I was getting a AW, SSII, or even a MR M3, I would go with IND's painted inserts. I think the clears will look good on my IB. And if I don't like them, it's no big loss.

also clears look better on a melbourne red
red and orange clash painted just looks too much like its stuck on in my eyes it looks cheap i'd rather get the euro bumper that's the nicest, most expensive option second is clear then tinted clear then painted |

Yeah, I didn't see any others in his ebay store either. I was actually the second person to buy a set from him. Another forum member bought a pair from him before I did.

I like the E46 smoked ones he has as well... I might go for a set of those when he has em. Also will likely try the tinted IND ones as well.

i've never liked the painted reflectors because it just gives the appearance that you don't like the reflectors and are trying to hide them. personally, i think painted reflectors look very tacky, especially given that they aren't flush to the bumper. yuck.
clear or tinted at least get rid of the ass-ugly stock orange and replace them with something a bit easier on the eyes without the impression that you're trying (unsuccessfully) to convince yourself and everyone else that the painted reflectors just blend in perfectly with the rest of the bumper. painted reflectors = fail. |

Good call. You can always sell whichever set you don't like as much to someone here on the boards.

Well actually many cars do come with "something stuck on painted body color", sort of. Tow hook covers, shark fin antennas, spoilers, and PDC. I'll just tell people my "something stuck on painted body color" is my side PDC for parallel parking
