Does anyone have a pic of Space Grey tinted 20 & 35%??
Does anyone have a picture of Space Grey tinted 20% and another one tinted 35%??
I should be picking up my car today or tomorrow and I want to have it tinted right away but can't decide if I want 20% or 35%. Any suggestions would be appreciated as well. Thanks!! |

Just be ware of the BMW DOT matrix issue on the rear windows... you will have bubbles if you tint... just a reality

Yeah I know, I've seen a lot of pics witht the dot matrix bubbling. I still think the car would look nice with a classy tint. I just can't seem to find a clear pic of space grey with 20 and 35%
Maybe someone who has one will post it. |

I put 40% on my space gray. I'm going out of town this weekend, so if I can't post the pick on Friday, i'll throw it up by Monday.
I don't have a bubble issue, but no tint will stick to the matrix dots.

MMMorish, the thread that was posted above showed my car. My old E46 M3 had 20% tint and my current E92 M3 has 35%. Which would I choose a 3rd time around? 35%. Its not too light nor is it too dark, its just perfect. I have it on my windshield as well and it lets in the right amount of light. In terms of looks, 35% looks way better. 20% looks like black paint is painted on the windows, where 35% gives it a stealthy, smoked look that lets through some light to make it look right. My 2 cents, hope this helps.
