Opinions and Decisions! Warning, long thread!
So, it's finally happening. I placed my order for an '09 e92 M because of the recent upgraded i-Drive talk, otherwise I would buy an '08 right now! I have ALREADY hanged my mind twice on color combination. It's funny how I would read all the threads on this page and laugh at how everyone stressed themselves out over colors, and now i'm racking my brain right now! All specs have been determined on the car EXCEPT or exterior color. I am going back and forth between Alpine White, and Space Grey. The interior is Fox Red with Carbon trim. I am going to be putting M6 reps on the day I get the car. So, like a million people before me... What do you guys think would look best with the M6 reps and red interior? I want the car to be different, with an agressive stock look, and there are no M3's around here, so the popularity of Alpine White on the board hasn't really thrown me off, because I havent seen any around here. Although I am sure that will change the minute I drive off the lot. I am not getting the carbon fiber roof, I am getting the moonroof. Dark tint. The usual, I am just trying to give you guys a visual of what I am planning, only thing missing is my exterior color. I need PROFESSIONAL opinions! You guys and the information you provide, combined with the greatest test drive of my life have driven me straight into the drivers seat of this car, I just need a little more help.

i said this before but i like the contrast of AW with CF roof. to me space gray does not fit the car's sporty personality. the color is too subtle and should be on a S class or something like that. nice color, but not a good fit for the M3.
space gray also restrict ur wheel options as well. for instance u can never have time attacks and look good at the same time. if u care! i really hope you do change your mind about M6 reps though. take your time and consider more wheels before you make your decision. my $0.03 |

try to stay away from reps, also try to stay away from mixing wheels from other cars.
there's a lot of wheels out there. people seem to be interested in HRE's, 360 Forged's. I personally prefer BBS or Volk coz they're performance tires. but that's just me personally |

Decisions Decisions! I'll search the photos section for them, hopefully something else catches my eye. I do love the way the reps look on the e92 though, it's a tough choice for me.

I agree with Mantis. I like more the JzB. Only because I used to have a Metallic-Schwarksoff black- on E36 M3. The interior will be the red. As far as wheels, I haven't thought about any.

Go with Space Grey, something a bit different from AW for a change! Black carbon trim with Fox Red is going to look gorgeous!

Well, Im not into the white car thing. I think its a grille of fashion. I ordered my M3 in JzB ,but second choice was space grey.( actually first choice but my dad didnt like it, and he wanted JzB ) You shud go with space grey.
As for the rims, I saw one with 19' stocks, painted in space grey aswell. I must say, I liked it.looked hot ( was in St Tropez) But it is all up to you. We can give our opinion, but you have to decide. If you want it in pink with 16' chrome wheels, we will say NO, but it is your decision. |

AH, I know! I saw GFP's M, and thats why I went back and forth between that and Alpine. I hadn't seen anybody on the board put those wheels on the car, and I thought Space Grey was GORGEOUS. Perfect fit for the wheels. Then I saw that picture and I fell in love even more and at the same time wanted to be different a tad bit. We'll see what happens, i'll keep you guys in suspense until delivery day! Haha. I can't wait to post pics up on here for you guys to see what I have in mind. Heres another bit of advice you guys can give? How do I kill time between now and late October early November??
