An update since the thread was bumped anyway.
AG hasn't fixed anything. The major hangup has been they wanted me to send the wheels into them before they'd replace anything. Meanwhile it was right before summer, prime driving season, and I didn't want to risk having the car on jackstands for the summer. They were unwilling to entertain the idea of an advanced RMA. The vibration is still there, but tolerable most of the time, and the paint flaking has gotten worse. Aside from that, the wheels have been fantastic in actual use. The grip is phenomenal, and I get compliments over the wheels from random people all the time. Still no rubbing in the front after moving to the 265/30, and the only rub in the rear is over high speed dips, which are rare. (this rub spot can be shaved down and eliminated easily, so a non issue) Going forward, there is a proper forged monoblock version of these wheels coming soon (AG isn't involved as far as I know), that seems significantly more promising. I'll most likely be moving to that upon its release. I'm extremely hopeful that it will address the vibration and paint finish issues. Very happy with the widths and offsets, and will be repeating the exact same configuration when the forged set is available: 19x10 +25 265/30/19 and 19x11 + 25 295/30/19. |

Honestly I'd have just bought a set of custom FS F14s or like BC Forged wheels for a few bucks more and gotten exactly the sizing at higher(ish) quality. Hindsight is obviously 20/20 though

Nearly 2 years later, I finally resolved the vibration issue.... by replacing the entire wheel set.
The existing set balanced out ok with a road force balance, but no matter what I did, it still vibrated. Balanced 3 times, and no difference. My tire guy had a similar problem with reps on a 997 years ago. The new set? Butter smooth at 100MPH. |

I wonder how this setup “ 19x10 +25 265/30/19 and 19x11 + 25 295/30/19” would work on lowering springs (like H&R)? If the rear is rubbing at times “over high speed dips”on 295-30 then I would assume one has to go 285-30 instead to prevent any rubbing?

Have you checked out the Richland Forged "359" replicas? Rears are 10.5 not 11 but forged sounds like a cool move.
No idea about price or quality, just saw the thread a few rows below this one.

I have a set in silver. they're awesome - OEM quality finish, lighter weight, slightly more concave, a bit wider, and no need to run spacers. I think they're perfect for the tire sizes I went with (255/35 in front and 275/35 out back).

We are currently narrowing in on consensus offset, but at the moment 19x10 et25, 19x11 et 25 is the notionally established preference.

Our tuner oriented ZSPEC design basis consisted of several fundamental goals. Of foremost nature, was to exhibit pinpoint accurate styling (1:1) in wheel face, except in the area that of which was limited by the original's specifications, notably the concavity of the wheel, which has been enhanced significantly to improve on the dramatic visuals of the wheelset.

Edit, clarifying: I think the concavity profile I have now is perfect, and wouldn't want to change it. The 10" wheel I have now, is a 1:1 with the factory OEM 10" in design and concavity profile. The 11" uses the 10" profile and face. Last edited by drwankel; 06-09-2024 at 12:03 AM.. |

In our experience, the overwhelming majority, if not all enthusiasts to date, have desired to maximize concavity (spoke plunge) of given designs.
Most perceive this aspect as enhancing visual aesthetics by furthering aggressive nature and styling. Furthermore, if one were to design a wheel with spoke projection/depth equal that of OEM, while at the same time decreasing offset to improve fitment/stance, it would consequentially add weight to the design via increased backpadding/thickness. This would ultimately factor counterintuitive to performance goals, and realistically be less desirable to the tuner community.

We produce 359 style too, in perfect specs for M3 e92.
These wheels are made with special requirements, made them compatible with the 6pot and 400mm brake discs (bmw m2 perf brakes) |
