Well done. Taylor Swift doesn't really fall into my long list of preferred genres but decent ticket price combined with a Paris venue is very enticing. I hope you had a great time.

For those times we don’t want to uncover and fire up the big built in grill to throw just a hot dog or two on, I picked up this lil Weber Q2800 for our lower patio.

On Friday the older model of this, purchased pre-COVID for my home office, stopped responding to left clicks. I literally killed a mouse (well, trackball). I don't even want to know how many clicks that took!

I think it's like "how many licks to a tootsie pop". No one knows how many clicks.

My brother and I will be doing work in the attic and under the soffits later this week, so we needed a way to communicate without having to yell all the time. Harbor Freight to the rescue. And then I needed a pole saw to trim some dead branches that are too high to reach with the chain saw. Yet another Ryobi tool.

You do a lot of work for a retired old dude. Take it easy, you’re gonna make the rest of us retired old dudes look bad.

Nice you have your bro to help you.

Never enough time in my days. Between home improvement projects, yard work, and my cycling, I'm busier than ever now.

Oh yeah, and vet visits. Seems there is always some cat problem cropping up.

I’m busy around the house too, and have a gardener for the yard work. Exercise and walk almost daily. Always make time for a little relaxing, though.

Wow, so there are people who will actually *do* yard work and not just advertise that they do? Every time I contact a landscaper I get promises of getting out here for an estimate and then never hear from them again.

I've had the same gardener for many years. Comes every week and does a good job. Also have a tree trimmer who comes twice a year; been coming here for more than 20 years. I like to keep the same people. They know what I want and I'm very comfortable with them, but only if they do a good job.

I can't stand when my wife's uncle comes over and messes with my yard.

It does suck up there. But I need to get walkways installed so I can finish mounting my PoE cams on the corners of the house.

Technically didn't "buy" it, but Google gives my business these points I can redeem for stuff. It's mostly crap of little interest to me, but then I saw this bad boy popup... for not a lot of points either so I jumped on it. Went away almost immediately after I "ordered" it and haven't seen it since. I thought maybe it was a fluke and I wasn't going to get shit, but she showed up!

Already have the Phillips superautomatico but fuck it... I'll try being a barista again.
